1841 1d. plate XI, LF, margins all round, on entire to Hartlepool, very fine light strike of the black Manchester 'fish-tail' Maltese Cross, the reverse with Manchester and Stockton circular datestamps of 1 and 3 June 1841; address panel with closed tears, the adhesive with light crease and surface scrape, still most attractive.
