IC, small to large margins, on entire letter from Hadnock to Coleford, tied by two very light strikes of the red Maltese Cross and short black ink penstroke, showing fine light "monmouth/ma 31/1840" double-arc datestamp at left (last Sunday in May - interestingly showing "MA" code for March but date of letter heading confirms it as May); fine, attractive and very rare.
