Rle du Klingenthal Octobre 1814, etched with fleurs de lys, trophies, sunburst etc, inscription GARDE DU CORPS DU ROI and bearing three poinçons (inspector's stamps), brass (originally gilt) four-bar guard bearing the Arms of France, and wire-bound wooden grip; in its steel scabbard with ornate brass mouthpiece (lacking its securing bolt) and two suspension-rings Estimate £ 500-700
