Souvenirs of the Blackpool Aviation Week A porcelain cup, with remains of gilt edging to rim, bearing an illustration of the Wright biplane in flight over Blackpool beach and inscription THE FIRST AVIATION WEEK HELD IN Gt. BRITAIN / BLACKPOOL, OCT 18-24 1909, with companion saucer (undecorated); a small white china mug marked ENGLISH MANUFACTURE, bearing illustration and inscription as on previous item; and an unstamped picture postcard with a photograph of two biplanes in flight, watched by a large crowd, with caption ROUGIER'S HIGH FLIGHT AT BLACKPOOL.
