A Royal Military Academy Uniform, A mid-19th Century Woolwich Gentleman Cadet's coatee, with scarlet collar, cuffs, piping and turnbacks, twist loops on collar and cuff-slashes, gilt buttons by LANDON & CO, of 1840-55 pattern, four holes in each shoulder for attachment of scales, an inverted three-bar chevron above the right cuff, scarlet cotton lining, the left sleeve inscribed with ink S Wilson Estimate £ 120-180 It is believed that the name in the uniform may be that of Charles Stewart Wilson, who was a GC at Woolwich from 1853-1855.
