Hopcroft, Somerset Light Infantry General Service 1918-62, G.V.R., 2nd 'Crowned Head' type, one clasp, Northern Kurdistan (5666343 Sjt. Som.L.I.); 1939-45 Star; War and Defence Medals; Army Long Service & G.C., G.VI.R., 1st 'Indiae Imp' type, with 'Regular Army' suspension (566343 W.O.Cl.2. Som.L.I.); Special Constabulary Medal, E.II.R. (Harry Hopcroft), extremely fine, the group mounted as worn (6) Estimate £ 1,400-1,800 Apart from a few British Officers and N.C.O.s, no British troops were engaged in these operation against Sheik Admed of Barzan, in the area Diana-Erbil-Aqra-Suri, north to the Turkish frontier, between 15 March and 21 June 1932.
