George I, Medallion for the death of the Duke of Marlborough, struck in copper, bust three-quarters right, rev. figure standing amongst weapons and armour of battle, date in exergue, 27th June 1722, aged 74 (Eimer 494), cabinet friction and a couple of rim nicks, a bold very fine; George II, Admiral Vernon Medallion, figure standing left holding wand, cannon behind, ship sailing to right, rev. inverted die axis, six ships at Portobello arranged in triangle formation, 1-2-3, smaller boat in harbour entrance, date in exergue (Storer 148 type 8C ), extremely fine with lustre and very pleasing (2) Estimate £ 120-150
