Military Authority in Tripolitania, a specimen set of the ND (1942) comprising 1, green, 2, blue, 5, green, 10, violet, 50, brown, 100, red, 500, green and 1000 lire, blue, all have arms of lion atop crown at right, value at centre and at each corner (PM1-M8), all the notes are perforated SPECIMEN except the 5 lire, the 1 and 2 lire have printers ink annotation in top margin and date '28.12.44', the last two have serial number 00T-00000, a superb set and extremely rare and attractive (8) Estimate £ 2,000-2,500
