The Earl of Dufferin Viceroy of India Presentation Medal 1884, silver, 51mm., edge engraved ´To 1957 Cpl J Willmott. 6.D.Gds´ (Puddester 884.1.1), mark on edge at 12 o´clock and minor edge bruise, good very fine Estimate £ 100-140 The Earl of Dufferin was Governor General and Viceroy of India from December 1884 to December 1888. His presentation medals were also given as shooting prize medals, when they were engraved with the recipient´s name and suspended from a blue riband.
