†Sultans of Bengal, Ghiyath al-din 'Iwad (1213-27), silver Tanka, 10.85g., dated Rabi II AH619, naming 'Ala' al-Haqq as heir (G&G.B.29; R.121), some weak areas, but very fine with clear date, scarce Estimate £ 130-160 provenance: ex. John Deyell collection. This coin appears used as a type illustration for B29 in Goron and Goenka's book, "The Coins of the Indian Sultanates".
