Cl.II Foresters), good very fine, mounted as worn, with Denmark, Christian X, Slesvig Medal 1920, silver good very fine (6) Estimate £ 340-380 Sold with Warrant Officer Class II Warrant dated 10.12.1923, appointing Stradling Company Sergeant Major, The Sherwood Foresters from 13.7.1916; Certificate of Discharge, Character Certificate, three photographs of recipient, one as a Boy Soldier aged 15 (Colonel's Bugler), and the recipient's riband bar Company Sergeant Major John Edward Stradling, born 1888; enlisted at Leeds 26.1.1904; was an Army Representative at the Plebiscite Proceedings in Schleswig, February 1920; was discharged from 1 Bn. Sherwood Foresters on 23.12.1923 after 18 years service.
