Norf: R.); Meritorious Service Medal, G.V.R. (3-10617 S. Mjr: Norf: R.), first medal contact marked, others very fine or better, together with Cadman's leather-bound Account Book, Soldier's Small Book, W.O.I Warrant (October 1915), and his Naval & Military Lodge award, silver-gilt (Hallmarks for London 1923) and enamel (5) Estimate £ 700-800 Sergeant Major Henry Cadman, born in the Parish of St. Georges, London; enlisted 21.4.1875, aged 14 (size 4 foot 63/4 inches), in the 31st Brigade of Infantry Westminster, Middlesex; Corporal 1888; Sergeant 1891; Colour Sergeant 1895; re-enlisted 18.9.1914 at Ipswich aged 52 (size 5 foot 51/2 inches).
