Great Britain 1661 "Mercurius Publicus" number 29, dated from 18 July to 25 July, an apparently complete edition of this fascinating newspaper, including the first known reference to the application of postal markings on mail "to prevent any neglect of the letter-carryers in the speedy delivery of letters" and also advertises the new location of the Receiving Office for the Kent Post "the office for the Kentish daily post is now kept at the Round House in Love Lane..."; a few slight faults and folds though still fine Estimate £ 600-800
