BMS 1059; N.758; S.1136), rim chipped outside outer circle, otherwise very fine or better, with an attractive light tone, very rare Estimate £ 500-600 Eofermund was a Tamworth moneyer under Eadgar. A circumscription type penny of Tamworth, with a 'crozier' in the field, was in the Elmore Jones collection, lot 806.
