Miscellaneous coins (15), attributed to the West Indies by the owner but without strong basis: an unidentified copper coin trimmed to an octagon with original fleur de lis countermark over-struck with “M 49”; a French 5 Francs of 1830, countermarked on the neck of Louis Philippe with a “B”; a 1791 15 Sols countermarked “P” and “T”; a Mexican republic Real cut in half, countermarked “MC” or “MG” in dentilated frame; miscellaneous copper coins, countermarked with “T”, “S:D”, “crowned N”, “N/SD”, “G” 6 times, “WI” in toothed frame (twice), “GLD” in heart (incuse), “SL” (see Pridmore St Lucia fig 14), “IB” in heart, a bundle of 5 arrows or sticks, crowned heart (this often attributed to Martinique), fair to very fine (15) Estimate £ 60-80
