Penn-Yan-Mining Co. (MT). 1887. Certificate for 500 Shares. No. 48. Brown Obverses and reverses of a Liberty Head $20, $10, $5 and $2 ½ and the reverse of a Morgan Dollar in gold and silver metallic ink. The Penn-Yan-Mining Co. was headquartered in Helena, Montana, with its mines at Wickes. The Wickes mines produced some $50 Million in gold and silver before operations stopped in the early 1890s. One of the few certificates that features U.S. gold and silver coins; rare issued. Extremely Fine.
