Domenico Novello Malatesta (1418-1465), Lord of Cesana, brother of Sigismondo Pandolfo Malatesta. Galvano from the V&A specimen, 85mm. Bust left wearing tunic with fur, rev. Malatesta in full armor kneeling before a wayside crucifix, which he embraces, his horse at left, leafless tree at right. cf. Hill 179. Extremely Fine.
