At the center, Christ being betrayed by Judas; on the right, Simon Peter, short sword raised, attacks the chief priest's servant Malchus; soldiers and disciples behind, signed below VALERIVS VICENTINVS F. Molinier 270; Bange 773; Bargello 73; Kress 7, fig.355; Warren Ashmolean 232-3. An Extremely Fine early or contemporary cast. A similar piece in the Morton & Eden Sale, June 27-29, 2019, lot 866, realized 5,200 Pounds.
