Iran: 1921 Gilan Central Government (Soviet Republic), four values in imperforate sheets of 126 (14x9), unused, fine and rare. In Northern Persia, in the province of Gilan, a group of revolutionaries, with Mirza Kochek Khan Jangalin (1880-1921) at the head, launched the Jangal movement and declared autonomy against the Persian central Government, and started the Republic of Gilan between 1920-21. During this period stamps inscribed "Revolutionary Post of Iran, Gilan 1921" were issued. Each sheet framed.
