Hadith on Manuscript. Persian, dated AH 1232 (1816 AD). Calligraphy work by Muhammad Sadiq Shirazi. Pen and ink on woven paper, 6 x 8". "The Prophet said whoever feeds his guest twice, and sits with the poor two hours, and walks with the scholar two steps, God will build two castles in paradise matching the world twice". In five gold-outlined lines, Shirazi signs below. Nick on bottom right and left edge, some diagonal ripple lines. Matted and framed, 12 7/8 x 17".
