Victoria (1837-1901), 'Shieldback' Sovereign, 1872 [Die 100], second head left, WW in relief on truncation, rev. crowned shield in wreath, edge milled, 7.98g, 7h (Marsh 56; Spink 3853B), some very faint friction marks in otherwise brilliant and proof-like obverse fields, the reverse lustrously choice, good extremely fine, much as issued with great eye appeal
