The Bernard Pearl Collection of British Historical Medals | George IV (1820-1830), AR Coronation Medal, 1821, by G. Mills, GEORGIUS IV BRITANNIARUM REX, bust right, rev. PRO REGE DIMICO, equestrian figure armoured and plumed, of the King's champion, CORONAT JULII XIX MDCCCXXI in exergue in two lines, 62.92g, 57mm (Eimer 1142; BHM 1087), stained and darkly patinated, otherwise lustrous, especially to reverse, almost extremely fine, rare, especially in this metal
