(x) Government of Iraq, Nasik Security Printing type, 1/4 dinar, L.1931 (1941), serial number E/1 273540, green on brown and blue, King Faisal II as a child at left, Lionel Swan and Ibrahim Kamal signatures, reverse blue, bank title and value
(Pick 13, TBB B114a), in PMG holder 25 Very Fine. In order to meet increase spending during World War II, the Iraqi government had ordered more notes from Bradbury, Wilkinson and Co. in the UK. But due to turbulent situations around the world, Nasik Security Printing Press in India was chosen to print the notes instead. The supply from India continued for 3 years until after the war where the contract was given back to Bradbury once again. Rare in any grade
