Old Church Slavonic Russian Prayer Book. 18th-early 19th Century. Octavo. Silver mounts on burgundy velvet cover, four engravings of Saints, initial letters, titles and emphasis in red. Five silver mounts nailed to cover; the central a radiant oval depicting the Ascension, nimbate Saint with eagle at upper left corner, with Angels upper right, with lion lower left and with winged bull lower right. The lower left mount ragged border and lower right pulling up. Very Good.
