Great Britain. India General Service Medal, 1854-1895. One clasp: "Northwest Frontier" (LIEUT. G.C. ROSS 16TH BENG CAV). The 16th Bengal Cavalry was disbanded in 1862. It was re-raised by Ross, now a Lieutenant-Colonel at Ambala in 1882 as the 16th Regiment of the Bengal Cavalry. On ribbon. Attractively toned. Choice Extremely Fine.
