Organized in New York in the late 1880s, this company operated out of Hartford, Connecticut, and held the patent rights of Alexander Graham Bell and others, regarding an improved version of the phonograph. After 1890 the company associated with Edison United Phonograph Company, the Edison-Bell phonograph companies and the Edison Phonograph Works.
