Utah Aeronautic Company (Utah) 1911. Salt Lake City. 750 shares. Issued, not cancelled. No.13. Gold seal. Photographic vignette of a biplane similar to the Wright Brothers' aircraft. VF. Minor margin splits. Signed by L.R.Culver as President, who built his first plane as a glider, and later added an engine. Important, because Culver's flights were some of the earliest in the western part of the United States. This may also be the first instance of a photographic representation of an airplane on a stock certificate. Reportedly, only two examples were discovered, and this is the better of the two.
