Bank of Italy National Trust and Savings Association -Treasury Department Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (California) October 23, 1928. Chula Vista. Eagle and flag at the top. Gold seal. Age toned, with small tears in the top margin, otherwise Very Fine. The Bank of Italy, charter number 13044, had been operating a branch in Chula Vista. Under a new revision of the National Banking System statutes, a branch of a national bank could now be authorized to operate under the same charter as that granted to the main branch.
