Missouri, Kansas and Texas Railway, 100 shares at $100 each, 1891, #01725, green borders, locomotive leaves roundhouse, issued, cancelled. Issued to and signed by William Rockefeller, brother of John D. Rockefeller. William managed Standard Oil's New York operations, and along with H. H. Rogers, made a fortune with Amalgamated Copper Mining. He died leaving an estate estimated at $102,000. Very Fine, with some staining along the left side.Short edge splits.
