Central Transportation Company (PA), 1887, 47 shares, #10292, passenger train, issued to George Mortimer Pullman. Signed by Robert Todd Lincoln, son of Abraham Lincoln. Robert Todd Lincoln was an American politician, lawyer, and businessman, and the first son of President Abraham Lincoln and Mary Todd Lincoln. He served on the staff of Ulysses S. Grant as a captain in the Union Army. After the war he graduated law school and went on to establish a successful practice, representing wealthy corporate clients like Pullman. His easily recognizable signature on the back of this certificate is uncancelled in any way. Issued, uncancelled, but with rubber stamped endorsements on the front.
