Bank of Cairo (Illinois) Ca. 1830s. Kaskaskia. Shares. PROOF. Woman kneels and shows Declaration of Independence to seated Liberty. Medallion heads in the corners. Underwood, Bald, Spencer and Hufty. Almost New. Trimmed just into the left border. Used as a model to indicate changes for the purpose of producing a 100 share certificate. All early banking proof stock certificates are rare, and generally unique.
