Yellowstone Park Transportation Company (DE) 1929. Office at Helena, Montana. No.20. 5,000 shares. Silhouette of a stage coach against a yellow background. Issued to the H. W. Child Corporation and signed by H. W. Child as president. Issued, cancelled. Thin spots in the left margin, otherwise Extremely Fine. Childs negotiated an exclusive contract with the Northern Pacific Railroad to transport visitors to the Park. His buses and trucks were yellow and black, which probably explains the color selection for the custom vignette on the stock certificates.
While unissued certificates of this issue are obtainable, a high-denomination fully issued example, made out to the company, should be worth a premium.
