Lind [Goldschmidt], Jenny (1820-1897). Swedish soprano called the "Swedish Nightingale." Jenny Lind once shattered a window in the Music Room at Clifton Hill House with her voice. ALS. 3 pages. 8vo. April 28, 1864. Clifton Hill House [Bristol, UK]. She thanks an admirer for sending her flowers, and excuses the fact that she must leave them behind when she travels.
