In 1879 he presided over the U.S. Senate, and later became the Register of the Treasury, under Presidents Garfield and McKinley. DS. 2 pages. 4vo. August 14, 1890. District of Columbia. Deed. Bruce signs as Recorder. Some fold splits and an edge chip, otherwise very good.
