Sassoon, Siegfried (1886-1967). English poet decorated for bravery on the Western Front. Lone protester against the war. ALS, 4" x 4." Heytesbury House, Wiltshire. October 28, 1893. To Mr. Loudskrou. "I am afraid I can't reply to your questions on paper, as it would be rather a tall order, and I am not much of a hand at that sort of omniscience!" There are mounting remnants on the back, and tape in the corners.
