A lapel badge based on a miniature Irish Volunteers Cap Badge, silver, 'FF' at centre, surrounded by an enamelled band in the colours of the Irish Tricolour, all on an eight-pointed rayed star, with reverse pin, very fine

The 'FF' at centre stands for Fianna Fáil (Army of Ireland), and dates from 1913. The political party of the same name was formed in 1926.
