Bust of Alexander I left cast as the Slavic god Rodomysl, wearing plumed helmet and holding ornate shield and spear over shoulder, rev. Armored and mantled horseman spearing fallen foe, Cyrillic legend in exergue above date: "Cut by A. Lyalin from the medallion of Count Tolstoy in 1836". Diakov 1779. Large, impressive medal.
