Laureate, draped bust of the empress left wearing Orders, rev. View of the statue, rock it sits upon inscribed ?ETPY.I EKATEP?HA.II., signed "G" lower left. Diakov 194. Designed by French sculptor Étienne Maurice Falconet, the statue is set upon Thunder Rock, which is said to be the largest single rock ever moved by man. Some patches of metal impurity of porosity obverse and some reverse hairlines. Extremely Fine-AU.
