Great Britain. James II (1685-1688). Halfcrown, (1686). Secundo. Double struck, with second strike 20% off center. Laureate, draped bust l., rev. Crowned cruciform Arms, Garter badge at center. S.3408, Esc-494, KM 452. Pale lavender-gray with iridescent hues in the both doubled reverse peripheries. A few pinscratches. NGC XF 40. Dramatic, quite rare and a prized mint error.
