Large lot of Non-German Notgeld - mostly Austria , some France, and a smattering of other countries. The French (65) features various municipalities and also includes Algerian notgeld of Oran (3) and Constantine. The Austrian is made of some 800+ loose Notgeld issues; and about 550-odd notes lightly pasted down in two contemporary cloth-bound albums, with copious notations in German written in a precise, clerkly hand; other countries include: Slovenia, Maribor (5) 10 and 20 Vinarjev 1919; Beograd 10 Para; also a 4 Centavos from Horta, Azores; a Polish ½ Marki; and an example from Ghent, Belgium and Hungary; also a small change 50 Centesimi note of the Banca di Romagna, 1872 and Yugoslavia, Tourist Exchange Notes, 10 Dinara 1951 (6) supposedly rare. An eclectic, interesting and worthwhile lot for the Notgeld collector, with some better notes. The Austria generally EF-Uncirculated; the others mostly About Fine-Uncirculated, a few with minor problems. [Approx. 1,437]
