The Jackson Automobile Co. was formed in Jackson, Michigan in 1903. Production continued successfully until the company was forced to concentrate on war work for the government in 1917 and 1918. The company was renamed at the end of the War and attemps were made to regain full production but in 1923 the company was merged into Associated Motor Industries.
