Ex libris Washington College Library inside cover (white inked number on spine), and Blackford Condit - Pink ex-libris tag (Terre Haute, Oct. 29, 1872) inside cover and "B. Condit From Bro George Dec 25th 1864" adjacent page. Rev. Blackford Condit at this time was pastor of the Baldwin Street Presbyterian Church in Terre Haute, he would later go on to write a history of the city and a number of works on religion including a history of the English Bible. Some foxing notably front and back and edges, small cloth loss on spine, About Very Good.
