Sunbury & Erie RR (PA) 1853. No.114. One share. Train under arched title. Three vignettes in circular frames at each end (farmer, blacksmith, sailor, covered wagon, sailing ship and canal barge). A beautiful example of the engraver´s (Toppan, Casilear) art. Three very small hole cancels and two small pin holes hardly distract from the beauty of this lovely example. Cox reports only two pieces and values them at $1,000-$1,500. IC. VF.
