Missouri, Kansas & Texas RR 1892. 100 shs. No.02595. Green. Train. Issued to William Rockefeller and signed by him on the back. IC. VF, stains, left, and age toning in the margins. Excellent signature. William Rockefeller was the younger brother of John D. Rockefeller. He entered business at the age of 16, clerking for a miller in Cleveland before he joined his brother John´s produce business a year later. When John D. Rockefeller entered the oil refining industry he invited William to take charge of the Rockefeller and Andrews exporting business in New York.
