Payable to "Grindstead & Bradley / Fifteen Hundred Dollars." Spindle cancels at center and elsewhere, bleed through from back endorsement, otherwise EF. 2) Similar. Sep. 24, 1872. Payable to "Grindstead & Bradley / Three Hundred and Fifty-One Dollars and a quarter." Spindle cancel at the center, endorsements on front and back, stain, otherwise VF. 3) Feb. 15, 1873. Payable to Thomas Polk & Co. / Fifteen Dollars." Spindle cancels, pin holes, bleed through from back endorsements, otherwise VF-EF. All three with crystal clear Custer signatures. [3]
