Custer, George Armstrong. Interesting Autograph Document Signed "GA Custer," 1 page, narrow oblong 8vo, Louisville, KY, Sep. 24, 1872. Blue bank check drawn on the Planters National Bank of Louisville, payable to "Grinstead & Bradley or order / Two hundred Dollars." Transferred on verso. Spindle cancel at the center, and three small spindle holes at left, not near writing, otherwise EF. Grinstead and Bradley were bankers. All entries in medium brown ink, well executed by the General. There is a partial fingerprint at the top which may very well have been the General´s! One of the nicest of the remaining examples.
