Although notes on this bank are common, high denomination 1902 Series Blue Seals are tough, in part because they were only issued as dated backs. Only two $50 and two $100 1902 dated backs are recorded in the census. A note comparable in grade to the present note was offered as Lot 1969 of Lyn Knight´s June 12, 2011 sale, where it fetched $2,000 plus the buyer´s premium.
