China. Ming Dynasty. Da Ming Bao Chao. 1 Kuan - 10 strings of cash. (1368-1399). There is a fold extending across the top of the note. A small piece missing from the upper right corner, and there are some internal thin spots, otherwise About Fine. Still a very presentable example of what can properly be called the world´s first readily available issue of paper money.
