Baltimore and Ohio RR, 100 $100 shs preferred stock trust certificate, 1901, issued to and signed on verso by EH Harriman, locomotive in circle, green, punch cancels not affecting Harriman signature, soiled, minor edge wear, good VF. Edward H Harriman (1848-1909) began as an errand boy on Wall Street and by age 22 was a member of the Stock Exchange; he later turned his attention to railroads, and came to control both the Union Pacific and the Southern Pacific.
