Auction: 313 - Numismatic Collector's Series - Ft. Worth, TX
Lot: 1204
Collection of Large Cents. A notable formation of cents, the earliest example dated 1794 and representing the Liberty Cap type with examples running through to 1856 and the Braided Hair type. As in oft-seen, many early examples are accompanied by afflictions of heavy circulation such as scratches, dents, and corrosion, but all examples retain date legibility. Many later date examples are observed with VF to XF detail. A fresh lot, we are confident that examples have not been inspected in decades, if ever, for rare die pairings. As such, in-person study of this lot is strongly advised as not only do dates and grades vary, but a treasured type could be buried within. Sold as is, no returns. [127]
